There is literally no one supporting Prop 65 - the website of the people who put it on the ballot now says 'Prop 65 No Longer Needed'. (They are supporting a replacement, Prop 1A, instead). I was originally aiming for 30 songs, because that's what Matt had, and because I believe making difficult cuts increases the quality of the list. Who doesn't like lists? And as High Fidelity taught us, the ultimate "best of" list is the Top 5 list. Unlike longer list formats, the Top 5 list always requires difficult cuts. The Top 5 list is short and to the point, meaning it's rarely dull. The Top 5 list is just long enough to sketch out the shape of your preferences, while providing plenty of material for disagreement.
